When you have a goal you wish to achieve, your words and your actions must match up in order to achieve it. There are several steps that one must take in order to accomplish their goal. First one must come up with a plan as to how they will accomplish their goal. From there the language that you use is extremely important in achieving your goal. Finally, it isn’t enough to just say that you want something, you must actually act upon your words.
The first step in accomplishing your goal is to come up with a plan as to how to accomplish it. This will vary depending on whether or not it is a long term or short term goal. A short term goal it is very easy to get started on. A long term goal though one must break down into small steps. By breaking it down you make it so that you don’t get discouraged and can stay focused on it for longer.
The next thing to keep in mind is the language you use. First and foremost be precise in the language you use. The more precise you are the easier it will be to determine what you need to do and how you are going to do it. Second is to use positive language. Tell yourself what you can and will do instead of what not to do or what you can’t do. Third is to set a time frame that everything will be accomplished by.
The final and most important step in achieving your goal is to act on what you want. It is all fine and dandy to set a goal and tell people what you want to do, but if you don’t act on it nothing will ever happen. The only way to be truly successful is for your actions to match up to your words.
Remember to achieve your goal there are three important steps. First determine what your goal is and how you are going to achieve it. Set a plan of action. Second the language you use will better determine how successful you are. The more positive you are when you talk about how you will achieve your goal the more likely you will be to be successful. Finally, your actions must imitate your words. It is great to tell people you want to do something, but if you don’t act on what you are saying you will never accomplish your goal.
