No path to the top will ever come with out challenges. The road to the ahead will be paved with twist and turns. The question you have to ask yourself though is, what are you willing to fight for? How much are you willing to give?
No champion has ever had an easy path to the top, and even when they reach the top they will continually face challenges. The question though is, when you face a road block are you going to forge ahead or are you going to turn back?
When things get rough it is easy to turn back and say it isn’t worth it. But, nothing worth having will ever come easy. It has been said that it takes 10,000 hours of work to master something. It might seem like everything comes easy to a prodigy such as Beethoven, but what you don’t see is all the work that he put in behind the scenes to become as good as he did. When we watch athletes such as Messi or Federer they always make it look so easy and effortless, as if anyone could do it. What we never get to see is the training that went in to get to the point or the training that they continually do to stay at that point. And both of these athletes have also seen their fair share of ups and downs. Between injury and age impeding in there performance they have had to find other ways to stay at the top. They have been forced to adjust their styles and systems in order to stay relevant.
So my question for you is, how much do you want it and how much are you willing to give to get what you want? When things get rough are you ready and willing to continue fighting for what you want?
